We had a business makeover form the fantastic people at BWM Advertising, with new logos, an advertising plan, promotions etc. Peter Blasina "The Gadget Guy" also from Channel 7 introduced us to a Yahoo guru who gave us some web site tips!

And to top it off David Koch came diving on our boat!

They will be back in early August for a follow up!

'Oceanic Dealer of the Year Conference 2004'

Oceanic Diving Australia are a market leader in the dive industry. They give us tools to help us to help you. One of the best things they have done is put on a yearly conference for their dealers, this year it was in Cairns.

At the conference we attend seminars, learn about new product, socialise with other dive store owners, and generally let out hair down for a few days, as you will see by some of the photos of us with fish on our heads! Over the last few years we have received awards from Oceanic for marketing & supporting them as suppliers, but this year we got the big one!

The Oceanic Dealer of the Year Award!

This is a huge accolade for us! You can tell by the look on our faces that we really didn't expect it!

'Cronulla Sharks'

Over the last few years we have had the pleasure of teaching quite a few of the Sharks Football Team to dive. This year is no exception, with Daniel Dumas, Matt Bickerstaff & Dale Newton all taking the plunge!

'Mission Impossible 2'

Steve & Lee were lucky enough to be on the set of Mission Impossible 2. Mission Impossible 2 was filmed on Bare Island Botany Bay in Sydney's South.

This was a very technical stunt as the motorcycle was suspended on kevlar rope which ran between the island and the mainland. There was a huge hydraulic ram which pushed the bike into the air, with Tom Cruise firmly attached. At the same time a helicopter would swoop down and an assailant would shoot at him while he was trying to escape the island. The problems the film crew had to cope with were the rope breaking & Tom falling into one of the best dive sites around, or a wind sheer,(of which there were many), blowing the helicopter into the bridge and everyone falling into the water! (What would technically be left of them that is!)

It was a very exciting time with a crew briefing each morning, followed by a hearty film studio type breakfast!

It is not glamorous! You are cold, tired, have to wait hours for a 5 mins of footage to take place etc......really not what you would expect, but still very exciting.

Lee got to spend time in the producers tent with John Woo, while Steve advised on local weather conditions. In between all of this the other job was to keep boats clear of the area, for safety and continuity of the footage! They don't have a dull life do they!

'Water Rats'

Aquatic Exporers had the pleasure and the Valuble experience gained by being Advisers for the TV Show "Water Rats" in scuba related episodes.

'Sydney Olympics 2000'

Our Dive boat 'Voyager' was used as an boat for the IOC officials vessel during the Sydney 2000 Olympics
