A carefully recorded log of your dives will give you and any other interested person an accessible history of you the diver. Your log book will provide:
- A record of dive locations and related conditions as well as your growing confidence and development in diving through coping with such conditions.

- A recored of dives as a prerequisite for entrance and completion of various levels of continuing Diver education
